SPUN is located within a particular environment; its scale and scope defined and conditioned by the landscape and the architectural framework in which the work is situated.  The form is derived using a system of repetition; a simple formula of increasing increments.  Depending on your point of view the work could be expanding towards infinity or contracting towards a singularity.  The two parallel streams of the work reflecting the tandem, entwined paths of the teacher/student relationship.  Upon a solid foundation permeable and shifting ideas from.
